Make sure that any passwords or stored credit and debit card numbers are removed. Unpair any outside devices such as Bluetooth headphones, a smartwatch, speakers, etc. You may also disinfect your device before selling or trading. Removing a SIM card is a straightforward process. First, remove any exterior case that’s protecting your phone. While every device is different, look for a rectangular outline on the side of your device with a tiny hole inside. Insert a SIM card eject tool into the small hole and it should pop open. Remove your SIM card and push the slot back into place.
