Check The Battery Percentage 

On your iPhone device, makes sure you can see the battery percentage from the home screen or the navigation bar. On any iPhone x or higher series, you can view your battery percentage by swiping down from the top right side of the screen.  On any other iPhone series of lower versions, the battery percentage will automatically show on the top right end of the screen.
