Yes. We can have your iPhone digitizer (glass) replaced and sent back to you the same day. We repair all iPhone models – iPhone 3G, 3GS, and iPhone 4.

The best way to do is this (iPhone Users cannot do this):
1. Remove your battery and look at the back of the phone
2. You will see Model: (Your model number)

Question: I am not sure what’s wrong with my phone. How do I find out what needs to be repaired?

Answer:

Fill out our Mail In Repair form (Click here for the Form) and ship your device to us for free diagnostics. Once we have diagnosed the problem, we will contact you and get your approval for the repair.

Question: How long does a repair generally take?

Answer:

Most of our repairs are shipped withing 24 hours or receiving the device, since we have most spare parts in stock in our warehouse.

Question: Are you really a Doctor?

Answer:

You really think I would call myself a doctor if I wasn’t a doctor? ;)

Question: I dropped my phone in the water. Can you fix it?

Answer:

Sure. We can try to fix it. Just make sure you don’t try to power it on, since that may lead to a short circuit within the phone. And don’t wait for it to completely dry either. Place it in a seal tight ziplock bag and send it over of us to look at it.

Question: I live in San Antonio. Can you give me the exact location of your business?

Answer:

We are located diagonal to Northstar Mall on San Pedro Ave. in the Guitar Center complex, and a couple of stores down from Starbucks.

Question: My phone is not listed on your site. How do I find out whether you fix my phone?

Answer:

Question: My iPhone 3G has a blank display screen. How do I know what part I need to have repaired?

Answer:

When browsing through www.drphonez.com our home page gives you the option to select the make a model of your cell phone. Once you have made the correct selection you will see various different parts that we can Repair or Replace. If you select any of these parts it will give you a description of each of them and what that specific part is used for, also showing signs that tell you when that part is not operating properly. Question: When my Phone is being Repaired will I lose any of my information such as my contacts or pictures?

Answer:

No, nothing will be erased. All of our repairs are simply hardware and do not effect any of your saved information. Unless you have an iPhone that is in recovery mode and needs to be Restored.

Question: My iPhone is stuck on the Apple Logo. When I plug it into the computer or charger still the same thing. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?

Answer:

Yes, Your iPhone is stuck in Recovery mode. There are many reasons why it may have done this but the important thing is that it is indeed Repairable. We would have to do a Restore on your iPhone. Now this will wipe everything off of your phone but when you take it home you can then plug it in to your computer and all of your information should be backed up on iTunes.

Question: The Glass of my iPad is Shattered very badly. There are even pieces of the screen that have fallen out completely. Can my iPad be Repaired or will I have to buy a new one?

Answer:

You do not have to buy a new one, We can Replace the Digitizer Glass (Touch Screen) for you. Many times pieces of the glass will come out it all depends on severity of the way it has been cracked. None the less it is still Repairable.

Question: I have a Samsung Galaxy S Captivate and I shattered the screen. Why do I need to have both the Digitizer and LCD Replaced if I am only in need of the Digitizer?

Answer:

This particular model of phone comes with the Digitizer and LCD screen attached to one another. Most models come with these parts separated but there are some that are only available attached such as Captivate, Vibrant, Epic, iPhone 4, myTouch 4G, and more. These screens are simply to delicate to be handled separately and that is why they are only available together.

Question: I have an iPhone that I was using with AT&T but my bill has gotten much to expensive so I switched to T-Mobile. Is there any way I can still use my iPhone with T-Mobile even though it is not a T-Mobile phone?

Answer:

Yes you can use your iPhone with T-Mobile. However it will need to be Unlocked. This will allow you to use it with other GSM providers including T-Mobile.

Question: Will I be able to access the Internet on my iPhone once it is unlocked?

Answer:

You will need to contact your carrier ie. Tmobile, Simple Mobile etc. for the Connection settings for iPhone to be able to access the data plan on your iPhone.

Question: Can my iPhone Re-lock itself after being unlocked?

Answer:

When you have your iPhone connected to iTunes it may ask you to update your phone to the latest Version. It is very important that you DO NOT select the Update option because this will re-lock your phone to AT&T. As long as your iPhone is not updated than your phone will remain Unlocked.

Answer:

Yes we have many different Batteries available for sale for all kinds of Cell Phones.

Question: Will you test my phone to make sure nothing else is wrong with it?

Answer:

Yes we test everything we possibly can and will notify you of any other problems if any are found free of charge. We test all devices prior and after the repairs.

Question: Do I have to pay when before my phone is Repaired?

Answer:

No you won’t pay until it is Repaired and Ready to be picked up. This way we assure you leave satisfied with our great quality of work.

Question: My iPad 2 Touch Sensitivity is not functioning correctly. Is that Repairable?

Answer:

Yes, we would have to replace the Digitizer (Touch Screen) of your iPad 2. We conduct iPad 2 repairs on site and keep all parts in stock. Most times your iPad will be repaired and returned to you within 24 hours.

Question: When I dropped my HTC Evo the screen cracked and the touch is only working at the top part of my screen. What two parts do I need?

Answer:

You are in need of just one part. Its the Digitizer which is the Outer Glass and the Touch Screen on the HTC EVO. Many times if your screen is cracked it can effect your Touch as well.
